    Good first act. Mediocre but satisfyingly gory second act. Great ending. Tim Burton was the only director who could have pulled this off.

    Shame on you, Shekhar Kapur, for making this mediocre sequel to your brilliant movie Elizabeth. The love triangle subplot sapped the energy out of all the performances, even Cate Blanchett's.

    A indie gem. Proves you can make great movies with just a handycam and some vision. The song "Falling Slowly" deserves the Oscar win for Best Song.

    This should have won best picture in my opinion. Paul Thomas Anderson's restraint and dramatic pacing makes for a very satisfying viewing experience. And Daniel Day-Lewis is an effin' genius! "I drink your milkshake!"

    Julie Taymor's Beatles musical about love and growing up. Arresting visuals and solid dramatic performances do little to save the movie from its lack of coherence and average vocals. Some of the songs were forced in my opinion.
